Education is a channel that ignites the young minds and is also instrumental in raising responsible future generations of the society. There are these young minds who have been deprived of quality education due to lack of financial aid or infrastructure facilities. In lieu of this, we adopted Government school at Girigowdana Doddi in April, 2010. Since then we are constantly engaged in various useful activities to enhance the skills of the students, who can’t afford access to education at private schools.

While the rest of the country decides to go on a holiday, Preranites have the privilege to celebrate Independence Day and Republic Day with the students, to create a sense of patriotism amongst the students. Flag hoisting, sports activities, cultural activities and various competitions for prizes have been part of our celebrations.

Prerana loves children very much and advocates for children to have fulfilled education. The values and morals they imbibe in the initial stages lays a strong foundation not only for their future but also for the nation. We with the intention to motivate the students about the importance of childhood, education and everything they deserve, went ahead and celebrated Children’s Day by conducting drawing competition, quiz, mind games and distributed sweets. We could capture the beautiful smiles on their lips and their eyes sparkling with happiness. We continue to celebrate more such days.

While the present generation believes joy is in expensive celebrations,  Prerana takes the pride of celebrating its every anniversary with these school kids and mark simple yet memorable celebrations with these school kids.
