Donate Life
Blood donation is one of the best methods for a person to increase their life span. Every day every second there is a soul battling for life, not because of lack of money or lack of hospital care but due to lack of blood donors or lack of matching donors. To prevent people dying due to blood loss, more and more donors should step forward. Every donor plays a significant role in saving a life just like how blood plays a major role in functioning of the human body. It is one of the best ways to express our love and care for the fellow beings. With blood shortages occurring worldwide, it is important to create a network of young blood donors who commit to donating regularly. Prerana is a liaison between the donor and the soul in need of it. Prerana is successful in conducting blood donation camps in association with Indian Red Cross Society, at various educational institutions, corporate organizations and public places.
We successfully created awareness amongst public about importance and benefits of donating blood, till date we helped Indian Red Cross society collect more than 1000 units of blood.
Dear donors and organizer, we are deeply touched and humbled by the support and compassion you gave through your blood donation. We are grateful for Indian Red Cross Society for their continuous association with us from 2010 till date.
Not just through camps, Prerana has also helped to save many lives by arranging blood when people in need of blood during medical emergency.
Educational Institutions
Our first blood donation camp was conducted at SSMRV Degree COLLEGE, Jayanagar and it was very successful event where 96 units of blood was collected. Our heartfelt regards to the Principal and NSS unit of SSMRV for bestowing confidence and belief in us. Prerana has been constantly organizing blood donation camps at NMKRV college for women, Jayanagar since 2012. We convey our sincere gratitude to the principal and NSS unit of NMKRV for their cooperation in conducting the camps. We are happy to share that we have successfully collected more than 600 units of blood throughout our camps at NMKRV till date. The students and the staff have always shown ample enthusiasm and interest in stepping forward to donate blood.
In addition to this we have also conducted blood donation camps at Jyoti Institute of Technology and BMS College for Women. The organizers and students of JIT have equally carried out abundant energy and interest in conducting successful blood donation camps. We have collected about 150 units of blood at JIT and BMS.
Corporate Organizations
Our first corporate blood donation camp was at Synechron technologies Pvt Ltd, Bellandur. Despite the busy work schedules the employees carried out their social responsibility well and stepped forward to donate blood. We continue to associate with Synechron Technologies in conducting more such camps and serve the purpose. In additional to this we have also conducted blood donation camp at Smart works in association with EPAM India, Belandur.
Public Events
Sr. Gajanana Yuvakara Sangha, Basaveshwarnagar on the occasion of Ganesha Festival celebrations organizes blood donation camp for the neighbours of Basveshwarnagar, in association with Prerana. The public actively participated in large numbers and helped us collect more than 300 units of blood.
